I am floating and writing down the Colorado River for my birthday September 11th this year with a group of women and poet Joy Harjo. She wrote "Crazy Brave", a book I picked up off the display in Tucson this spring. A couple of months ago, I finished it at midnight in tears, went online and found out about this trip. Today I leave for my adventure to get to the river. I am looking for the river beneath the river. Me.
